heavy-duty-galvanised-bolt-down-square-fence-post-support-bracket
Heavy Duty Galvanised Bolt Down Square Fence Post Support Bracket

Heavy-duty square post support bracket for bolting timber fence, gate, pergola or carport posts down onto concrete or another solid surface, using a deep pressed-steel socket that grips the post securely on all four sides while lifting the end grain clear of standing moisture at ground level.

Raising the post off the ground like this is one of the simplest ways to slow rot and insect damage at the point where timber posts traditionally fail first, right at the base where the wood sits against damp concrete or soil. Because the post sits in a fixed pressed-steel socket rather than being set directly in concrete, a damaged or rotten post can later be unbolted and swapped out for a new one without digging out the original footing, saving considerable time and disruption on an established fence line, deck or pergola.

The bracket body is pressed steel, offered in three finishes to suit different settings: the standard Silver option is hot-dip galvanised for maximum outdoor corrosion resistance, the Gold option carries an electro-galvanised (zinc-plated) coating with a warmer tone, and the Black option is finished with a durable powder coat for a more contemporary look against modern fencing, decking and cladding. This style of bracket is assessed to the relevant European Technical Assessment standards covering the fixing of timber posts to concrete. All three finishes share the same pressed-steel construction and four-hole bolt-down fixing pattern, and are available across a range of socket sizes to match different post dimensions.

Key Features

Deep pressed-steel socket encloses the post on all four sides
