Heavy-duty decorative metal shelf brackets with an ornamental scroll design, built to give floating shelves, box shelving and display ledges sturdy wall-mounted support while adding a traditional, wrought-iron-style decorative look. Each bracket is a right-angle support: one arm fixes flat to the wall, the other projects outward to carry the shelf, and rather than a solid plate the fixing arm is worked into an open scroll pattern, so the bracket reads as a decorative feature in its own right rather than a purely functional fixing hidden beneath the shelf.

The bracket is fabricated from steel and finished with a powder coating for durability and colour retention, formed into a right-angle support that resists bending and flexing under normal domestic loads thanks to its rigid welded/folded frame. The open scrollwork reduces the visual bulk of the bracket compared with a solid triangular plate, which is why this style of bracket suits shelving where the underside is on view (an alcove, a hallway wall or an open display ledge) rather than being tucked away out of sight. Pre-drilled fixing holes in the wall-mounted arm accept standard screws and wall plugs (not included), so the bracket can be fitted to masonry, timber stud or the underside of the shelf itself using fixings suited to the wall or fixing surface encountered.

Because the wall arm and the shelf arm are the same nominal size on each bracket, the two arms match visually as well as functionally: brackets sit neatly under box shelving, floating shelves and similar furniture without an obvious overhang, and the bracket profile stays in proportion whichever of the three sizes is chosen. The scroll motif is consistent across the range, so brackets of different sizes can be mixed on the same wall (for example, a run of shelves at different depths) without a change in decorative style.

Installation Guidance

• Choose a bracket whose shelf-support arm covers at least two-thirds of the shelf depth, so the board is properly supported rather than overhanging the bracket
• Fit one bracket near each end of the shelf, adding further brackets at even spacing along longer runs of shelving to spread the load evenly
• Mark and level the fixing positions before drilling, so both brackets sit at the same height and the shelf finishes level once fitted
• Always fix into a solid, structural part of the wall, such as masonry or a timber stud behind plasterboard, using fixings appropriate to that wall material (screws and wall plugs are not included)
• Use all of the pre-drilled holes in the wall-fixing arm, rather than a single central fixing, to spread the load across multiple fixing points
• Check the security of the fixing before loading the shelf, and re-check periodically once the shelf is in use
