Engineered for secure lifting and anchoring, our forged DIN 582 lifting eye nuts provide certified performance and peace of mind for your most demanding projects. Each eye nut is manufactured to strict standards for strength, reliability, and safety, making them the professional choice for both trade and serious DIY applications.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Heavy-Duty Forged Construction: Manufactured from a single piece of steel for superior strength and load-bearing integrity, eliminating the risks associated with weaker cast alternatives.
-
Certified to DIN 582 Standard: Guarantees precise dimensions and predictable performance you can rely on for critical rigging and anchoring applications.
-
Clearly Marked WLL: Every eye nut is stamped with its Working Load Limit (WLL) for safe, compliant lifting. (Note: WLL applies to vertical, in-line lifts only).
-
Materials for Every Environment: Choose from cost-effective Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) steel for general outdoor projects.
Typical Applications
Ideal for creating secure, removable lifting points on machinery, engines, switch cabinets, and structural elements. An essential component for rigging, tensioning systems, and as a termination for wire rope, chain slings, and other lifting assemblies in workshops, garages, construction sites, and marine settings.
IMPORTANT: Safe Use and Load Information
Â
-
DO NOT USE FOR ANGULAR LIFTS. Any angular (side) loading dramatically reduces the eye nut's capacity and can lead to failure. For applications requiring angular lifts, a correctly rated shoulder eye bolt or a swivel hoist ring must be used.
-
Ensure the eye nut is fully screwed down onto the male thread. The flat collar of the nut must make firm and complete contact with the mounting surface to ensure proper load distribution.
-
The mating material and thread must be of equal strength to the eye nut.
-
Always inspect the eye nut for signs of wear, deformation, corrosion, or thread damage before each use. Discard and replace if any damage is found.
